This video contains some facts for you to add to your arsenal the next time you need to convince someone who thinks we’re in great financial shape. Warning: don’t watch this if you’re having a bad day or are depressed. This video showed up on our Facebook wall today, and we just had to pass it on to you. Truthfully, the biggest drug dealers in America aren’t standing around on street corners trying to corrupt our youth, they’re advertising their wares on television. And they don’t like competition. That’s why are prisons are filled with pot dealers. This video is a promotion for what is evidently a documentary coming up on Showtime, but don’t let that stop you. There’s a lot of truth here. This way too cute video is a parody of Sarah Palin, Larry King, the music business and politics. Oddly enough, this animated Palin, meant to poke fun, comes off as much more intelligent that the real Sarah we’ve all learned to love to hate. And Larry King, he hasn’t looked this young since… Come to think of it, he’s never looked this young. We’re not sure exactly what’s happening with John McCain, but we’re increasingly grateful that the voting public had the good sense to not put him in the White House in 2008. We’re hoping that what we’re seeing with McCain is just the bad side of party politics and not some underlying medical problem. No matter how much we disagree with Mr. McCain politically, we’ve come to sort of like him as a human being. Since an ex-president is no longer shackled by polls, special interests, and the need to be re-elected, we can now hear thoughts that are no longer as filtered through personal political necessity as they were when he was in office.
